Start with the space and the items.
A rental turnover, office cleanout and storage-area pickup have different demands. Describe which rooms or areas are involved, the items to remove and what must stay. Photos and an item list help the team understand volume and prepare for the visit.
Include heavy furniture, appliances, stairs and materials that need separate review. Explain whether the request covers loose contents, a full room or several areas. Precise scope is more useful than calling everything a property cleanout.
Make access and decisions clear.
Provide the pickup address, parking information and access instructions. Note elevators, loading areas, gated entrances and building time restrictions. Identify the contact who can answer questions and approve the final scope and price.
If several people manage the project, agree on which items are included before the appointment. The customer approves the final price before loading. New items or changed conditions need a revised scope and approval so the crew and property team work from the same understanding.
Plan each pickup around confirmed coverage.
For a one-time cleanout, share the preferred timing and any deadline such as a tenant move-in or contractor visit. A submitted request starts coordination; the appointment still needs confirmation.
For recurring needs, discuss typical items, access and likely frequency with the team. Check coverage and arrangements for each property. PNW currently serves Portland–Vancouver through JunkPDX, operated by Solely Junk LLC. Seattle and Boise customer booking is closed while providers are recruited.
Keep the work and communication together.
A useful job record connects the request, approved scope, price and completion information. Tell the team which project or property the pickup relates to, and ask about the records needed for your internal review before the work begins.
If access, timing or the item list changes, update the team promptly. Clear messages help resolve questions without relying on several people’s recollection. Use network support for an existing request and review the applicable written terms for payment and any changes.
Common questions
Can I plan pickups at several properties?
Discuss the locations with the team and check coverage for each address. One supported property does not establish service or a recurring arrangement for every location.
What details help with a rental turnover?
Share an item list, photos, access instructions, your deadline and the contact who can approve the final work.
Does submitting a request confirm the appointment?
No. Review the appointment confirmation before arranging access or depending on a specific arrival window.
Plan your pickup.
Current customer booking is through JunkPDX for covered Portland–Vancouver addresses. Seattle and Boise customer booking is not open yet. Check your pickup ZIP or discuss a larger project with the PNW team.
